Good news for public transport services between Bern and Solothurn: RBS has commissioned APS electronic AG to deliver 18 on-board converters for "Seconda" vehicles. RBS transports 26.31 million passengers annually, making it one of the busiest private train services in Switzerland. The on-board converters will be used by RBS in three-carriage Be 4/12 trains , called "Seconda", which serve the S8 and S9 lines between Bern and Solothurn. Delivery of the first batch of devices is scheduled for November 2018. The high number of passengers places special demands on the reliability of the machines used but the decisive factor when it came to awarding the contract to APS was our outstanding customer service.

  • Input                 1’200 VDC
